Hey Girls,
Today I will be sharing with you all my experience with City Color Cheek stain. Before starting with the review I would like to share a short story about this product. I am not a fan of cream products especially cream blushes as I find powder products to work a bit well on me. I didn’t know about this company and even if I would have known about them I would have never bought this product myself. But one day I received this product in my Fab Bag and my reaction was, oh I don’t think I’ll ever use this. But then came a point where I decided to finish some of my products so this being the smallest one, I kept this in my everyday use products, and since the day I first used this I started liking it and today I can say that I am glad that I received this in my Fab Bag. So what made me love this product? Continue reading in the post….

Product Description:
City Color Cosmetics Cheek Stain adds the perfect flush for a natural glow. Swipe your cheeks with 5 different hues. Long-lasting creamy texture for easy blending.
My take on the product:
City Color Cheek Stain comes in 5 different colors and the shade that I have is called Mauve. I am not sure that why this is called mauve as this is a peachy kind of a shade with a sheen. The product comes in a twistable stick with a transparent lid. The product is small in size and is easy to carry in a purse but at the same time it does have a decent quantity of product. Since the day I started using this, it has become my everyday blush.
Cream products that come in a tub form are little uncomfortable for me to use as I have long nails, but the retractable packaging of this makes it super easy to use. I normally dab the stick onto my cheeks and then blend it using my fingers. The product is super easy to blend and as it has sheen, it gives a beautiful glow to the skin. I usually top this up with another peach colored powder blush to make it last longer, but this too can stay for 3-4 hours alone.
Cream blushes are usually applied during winters as they help to moisturize the skin and in summers they might seem a bit oily, but this product is different. It does not make me look oily on the cheeks. Pigmentation wise the color is decent. It is not very heavily pigmented which saves me from looking like a clown even if I apply a bit too much of the product. Another plus point about this blush is that this is paraben free.
Overall I am really impressed with this blush and once I finish this one, I will definitely go and check out some more shades of these.
Pros:
- Affordable
- Super easy to use due to its retractable form
- Great quality and quantity
- Gives a natural glow to the skin
- Blends smoothly
- Stays for a decent amount of time and its staying power can be improved by layering it with a powder blush
- No brush is required to apply this
- Paraben free
Cons:
I can’t find any
