March Fab Bag Review and Pictures

Today I will be sharing with you that what I received in my March Fab Bag. I received my bag today in the morning and I was super excited to get it today as I didn’t expect it to reach me so soon. Yesterday night I saw a picture posted on Fab Bag timeline where a lady showed what’s in her March Bag. Though the products didn’t excite me much but I was happy with the fact that this time I will be getting more makeup products.

March is Women’s day month and the Fab Bag crew kept this in mind and made a pink colored bag with a Quotation from Coco Chanel. The quotation said “Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself”. I personally loved the quotation which actually meant that you look the best when you are yourself, when you don’t try to imitate or try to be someone else. The bag is made of a different material this time and it is so soft to touch.

For those girls who are not aware about what is Fab Bag, it is a monthly subscription bag in which you get 3-4 sample size makeup and skin care products of various brands. Every bag is customized according to personal preference and skin type. Though the bag and the products are a surprise but in the beginning of subscription a questionnaire is asked to be filled to understand the skin problem, choice of makeup and hair type which really help the Fab Bag team to customize the bag especially for us. The products are always packed in a cute bag which is different every month. The company also provides with a little booklet which contains the details about all the products received in the bag as well as some other products that can be brought from the site.

Sometimes Fab Bag does provide 1-2 full sized products too and sometimes you can also get more than 3 products plus some additional goodies 🙂

The subscription can be made for a single month or for the whole year.  The prices are:

For 1 month subscription: Rs 599 per month

For 3 month subscription: Rs 1499 i.e. around Rs 499 per month

For 6 month subscription: Rs 2699 i.e. around Rs 499 per month

The company says that the bag will have 3 sample sized products but as I mentioned sometimes we get 1-2 full sized products too and this time I got 3 full sized products with an extra sample and a pair of earrings as a gift with the products which made me smile:-)

So here are the products that I received in my Fab Bag this March.

Palladio Herbal Lipstick

This lipstick is available in 5 different shades and the one I received is called Ice Princess. These are herbal lipsticks and claim to give intense color in just one swipe. The product is described as a semi matte and long lasting lipstick which is luxuriously moisturizing and brilliantly pigmented. Though the pigmentation of the lipstick is amazing I did not like it much as it gives a frosty finish which I personally am not very fond of. The 3.7g lipstick retails for Rs 650

Soultree Ayurvedic Color Kohl

I have heard about this product earlier and when I came to know that I can get this product in my Fab Bag, I got excited as I really wanted to try this product. Soultree is a brand which makes natural and organic colored kohl and I really wanted to try a colored kajal. The shade I received in my bag is called grey glow. The company claims this kohl to be buttery soft and naturally pigmented. This handmade kohl is made from camphor and organic ghee and is free of parabens and lead. The 3g kohl retails for Rs 350.

Inveda BB Cream in the shade Fair

The company says: Its completely natural formula is enriched with Almond & Magnolia, it evens out skin tone, protects from UV rays and conceals fine lines & wrinkles to give a clean matte finish. I haven’t heard of this brand and have not tried anything from them. I am hoping this to work well for me. 15 ml of this product retails for Rs 140 which is little pricy for a BB Cream of this quantity.

Sebastian Hydre Shampoo

The only sample sized product I received in my bag is a shampoo from  the brand Sebastian which is a concept oriented hair care cosmetic company started by the famous hair stylist Geri Cusenza. I am not sure whether this will work for me or not but I do have high expectations from this.

With all these products I also received a cute pair of earrings in the shape of a blue colored butterfly. I liked the additional gift I received and honestly for Rs 499 I can’t ask for more:-)
