All Maybelline New York Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Pencil Photos & Swatches

It has been a while since Maybelline launched their new Gel eye pencils which they claim to be waterproof. I wanted to try them but I wasn’t sure about which color to start with as all the colors were attracting me. So I decided to get all the shades to give the full collection a try. I haven’t tried all of the shades yet, but I have swatched them for you. Today I’ll be sharing the swatches of all the 9 colors of ‘Maybelline New York Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Pencils’.

The eye pencils retail for INR 499 each but I purchased them from Amazon which was offering them at a discounted price of INR 399 (when I bought it, presently they are sold at INR 499 on Amazon too). (BUY HERE)

Shades available in the collection:

1. Sleek Onyx

This is the black pencil from the collection. It is not the blackest black but is more towards a softer black shade. It actually can be considered as a deep gray.

2. Smooth Charcoal

Smooth charcoal is a gray colored liner which can be a good alternative to black eyes. It is something I personally like to use as deep black does not always suit me.

3. Glazed Toffee

The brown of the collection is called glazed toffee. It is a matte brown color which is good to use to get a softer look.

4. Striking Copper

It is my second favorite shade from the collection. As the name says, it is a copper colored pencil with a pearly finish. The color looks beautiful with Indian Outfits.

5. Polished Amethyst

Polished Amethyst is a pearly purple colored pencil.

6. Lustrous Sapphire.

This is a matte deep blue colored pencil which is very much comparable to L’Oreal’s Silkissime eyeliner in Cobalt Blue, expect the fact that the one from L’Oreal has a shine and this one is matte.

7. Glossy Emerald

A bright emerald green. This one too has a pearly shine. The consistency and the opaqueness of the color make this one my most loved pencil from the collection.

8. Silken Turquoise

I always get attracted towards turquoise eye products, be it a liner pencil or a shadow. Silken Turquoise is no different. It is a beautiful turquoise blue colored pencil with a pearly finish.

9. Soft Nude

Soft nude is a creamy white colored pencil which is perfect for water-line and inner corners.

My initial thoughts on Maybelline New York Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Pencil:

I haven’t used the pencils enough to give a full review yet, but I have used them once or twice and I can already say that they are good. They are very smooth and creamy to apply and once set, they do not smudge.
