My experience with Lakme 9 to 5 Range

Hello beautiful Ladies,

Few days back I did a Haul showing you all the products that I purchased from Lakme’s 9 to 5 range and then slowly I reviewed each one of them. Today post will be a summary of my experience with all the products in that line.

There are few more products in this range but I didn’t get a chance to try them out. So here is what I feel about these 🙂

Lakme 9 to 5 Flawless Makeup Foundation in the Shade Marble (Buy Here)

The foundation worked fine for me. It’s not the perfect foundation but is something that stays for a long time and surprisingly becomes better with time. The foundation might dry you out at some places but everything becomes fine after few hours. The biggest negative point for this is that it does not come in many color options and the one I have is little lighter for my skin tone. Though the foundation worked ok for me, but I would not repurchase it again as I do have better foundations that this.

I completely loved the blush. This is my most adored product from the entire range. I won’t say that it is a perfect product but for the price it is amazing. This gives a very beautiful natural glow to the skin and makes it look beautiful. The color is very easy to blend and unlike many other blushes stays for a very long time. The major disappointment again is the limited color option.

Lakme 9 to 5 Lip Color in the Shade Pink Power (Buy Here)

It is a beautiful colored lipstick, which can look good on ladies with many different skin tones. Unfortunately the formulation of this particular one did not work for me. The product made my lips dry and creased in the inner edges of my lips. It also made my lips look not so well maintained (without exfoliation). Also, as it is something for office wear, I personally do not feel that it is appropriate to have shimmers in this. Overall this color was a complete fail for me. 🙁

Lakme 9 to 5 Crease-Less Lip Balm in the shade Rose Affair (Buy Here)

The confusion with this product starts right from its name. The product is called a Lip Balm but it works and looks like a lip gloss. The product has a beautiful packaging and the color does look pretty in the tube, but unfortunately the color pay off of the product is not so amazing. It does not show up well on lips especially on pigmented lips. but it does moisturize them and make them feel soft and smooth.

Lakme 9 to 5 Lip Liner in the Shade Pink Blush (Buy Here)

This is amongst the products that I adore from all the things that I have tried. It is a beautiful color for daily wear and looks pretty even as an overall color. Unfortunately it does not stand a meal if used as an overall color, but it works really well as a liner. The color is non transferable which helps it to stay for a longer time. The price of this pencil makes it affordable to a large group of people.

Lakme 9 to 5 Nail Color in the Shade Berry Business (Buy Here)

This is another gem of a product from this range. Though it is not as long wearing as the company claims but the color is perfect for everyday wear. The color is completely free of shimmers and do stay for a decent number of days. It has a wider brush which makes application a lot more easy and quick.

Lakme Eyeconic Curling Mascara (Buy Here)

This is a decent mascara that does only what is claimed by the company. It is a curling mascara and works only for curling the lashes. The mascara does not clump and is easy to use. It does not make the lashes look fuller or thicker. It is one of the most affordable curling mascara available in the market.

Lakme Eyeconic White Kohl (Buy Here)

This is a multi tasking product that can work both in the inner corner and in the water line. I have even tried this as a base on my eyelids and it can also be used for highlighting the brow bone area. For such a great product, this one comes in a very affordable price range. The product has a creamy texture and is really easy to blend. Its retractable form makes it convenient to use.
