Hello Beautiful Ladies,
How are you all? Hope you having a wonderful week. The shade of Apocalips that I have for you today is called Luna and it is the lightest shade from my collection of Apocalips.
Product quantity: 5.5 ml
Price: Rs 475
Ingredients: Not mentioned
Product Description:
It’s the End of Colour as you know it!
The intense rich colour of a lipstick, enhanced by a satin smooth shine.
It’s neither a lipstick nor a gloss… It’s BIGGER than both!
LONG LIVE THE COLOUR!
My take on the product:
Packaging: Like all the other Apocalips, this too comes in a cylindrical type of bottle with a cap. The cap has a doe foot applicator attached to it. The applicator picks just the right amount of product that is necessary for 1 time application. I liked the way the cap of the product looks. The base of the bottle is transparent and the actual color can be seen from there. This is very useful as all the Apocalips have with the same kind of lid and packaging and the colored base really helps to pick the right color without digging into each product.
Color: Luna is a light peachy color which is perfect for everyday office use. The color is completely free of shimmers which make it even easier to wear during the day. When seen in bright light, the color seems to have a golden sheen which makes it appropriate for parties. The color itself might look good with a smoky eye, or it can look good even on top of some other colored lipstick to get that glossy sheen.
Pigmentation: Though the color is light, it gives a good pigmentation on the hands, but on the lips (especially pigmented lips), 2 coats of color are required to can an opaque look.
Texture: Like all the other Apocalips, this too is little drying. This problem can easily be solved by using a lip balm underneath the product. Otherwise the product feels very light on the lips and it also makes the lips seem smoother. Once it starts to fade, it might stick into the fine lines on the lips which might not look very flattering, but as this is a light color, you can get away with it.
Staying Power: The staying power of the product is average. It stays for around 3 hours without much fading, but a meal can hamper the intensity of the color. The color does not stain the lips and so not even a slight tint of color remains on the lips once the color is gone. This color too did not collected in the inner parts of my lips and did not make any weird looking line.
Pros:
- Affordable
- Appropriate color for everyday use
- The golden sheen makes it appropriate to use it with heavy eye looks.
- Easy to apply
- The applicator picks just the right amount of color
- Decently pigmented
- The color looks beautiful over other colors
Cons:
- Settle into the fine lines after few minutes of application
- Average staying power
- Might dry lips, if used without a lip balm

Would I buy this product again?
No! Though I liked the color, and the formulation is also good, but I already have 5 if them and so I won’t buy more shades.
Do I recommend this?
Yes! If you are looking for liquid lipsticks or a product that is between a gloss and a lipstick, then this is a must try
Rating: 3.8/5
The color seems to be nice, but as you said you wouldn’t buy it again and hat staying power is average… plus tend to dry lips… I will take your advice and won’t buy it either! Thank you for the review!
