Organising Accessories: 5 Ways to Organise Earrings

Everygirl has a number of accessories ranging from different kinds of jewelry, watches or sunglasses. There are a number of ways in which you can organize all these accessories. In today’s post, I will be talking about 5 Ways to Organise Earrings.

Organizing earrings can be a little tricky due to the different shapes and sizes of the earrings in the collection, but if you ask me, they are the easiest to organize.

1. Hanger with dupatta

This is the easiest and the cheapest way to organize and display your earring collection. All you need is a regular hanger and a piece of cloth. In this case, I have taken an old dupatta and have cut it in the desired length. Now, all you have to do is put the dupatta in the hanger and hook your earrings to the same.

This might not be the perfect method for small stud earrings, but for your longer earrings, this saves a lot of space and displays each piece well.

2. DIY thermocol/foam tray

This method works only for small earrings or studs. All you need is a piece of thermocol or foam. This is easily available at a very cheap price at any local stationery shop. Just cut the thermocol in the desired size and you have your organizer. To display your earrings, all you need to do is push the earrings into the thermocol and you are done!

You can also paste the little pieces of thermocol to make a staircase kind of a display for your earrings.

3. Adjustable Storage Organizer Box

There are many kinds of organizer boxes available in the market and most of them can be used for storing multiple things. The one shown below contains adjustable dividers and is a good option for storing earrings. This is a good option when you have a lot of earrings to store and you do not wish to display them and protect them from dust.

4. Plastic tree stands

Do you have a few favorite pieces which you like to wear on a daily basis? Then this tree organizer is a good way to store your everyday jewelry as well as display them in a prettier way. These tree organizers are available in a number of different design options and can also be bought in various colors.

5. Dress shaped jewelry organizer

These organizers too are very popular for storing many different types of accessories, and so they make a good option for storing earrings too. Just hang them in your almirah and separate your earrings in different compartments.

All the ways to store earrings that are mentioned above are good for everyday earrings, but what about long/heavy party wear earring?

Small individual plastic boxes are a good option to store larger pieces of earrings. This not only saved them from dust but also protects them from damage. I bought my boxes from the local market, but they can also be bought from Amazon.
