It has been a while since I posted my last review on the blog. Today I have something new that I ordered last month from Nykaa and it is something that I have never tried before. I love my hair and I am kind of sensitive about them, this is the reason I don’t go wild about testing new products on my hair. But, when I saw that there is a temporary hair color available in the market (which I didn’t know about), I instantly had an urge to try it. Today, I’ll be sharing my experience with BBLUNT One Night Stand Temporary Hair Colour.

My Experience with BBLUNT One Night Stand Temporary Hair Colour:
BBlunt is a big brand and I do trust the brand and their products. This was the reason that I went ahead to try this fun looking hair product. I naturally have black hairs, but last year I colored them dark brown. I did like my dark brown colored hair, but the process of coloring my hair took about 4 hours which made me a little anxious about my decision.
When I saw this One Night Stand Temporary hair color on Nykaa’s website, the first image I had in my mind was ombre hair. I always wanted to try pink hair, but as it’s not something usual and I didn’t want to go for a permanent color. All I wanted to use this product for, was to color the lower ends of my hair in a fun color. The shopaholic in me made me order 2 shades, Blush Pink and Emerald Green.
I was excited to use these colors and I started by trying the green one. I won’t say that I have the best hair in the world, but they are decently soft and kind of curly too. I started with freshly washed and dried hair and started spraying the green color on my hair. Initially, I did it by having my hair in the front, but this did not work too well, so my husband suggested to help and he sprayed the color on my hair. To our surprise, the bottle finished midway. I went ahead and started spraying the pink color too, just in order to finish the second half of my hair (which actually made them look as if I have just played holi and the pink wasn’t even visible after few hours, which made them look even worst).
I left the color to dry for around 15 minutes before touching my hair and after 15 minutes I realized that the color is still wet as it was still transferring on my hands. Also, my hairs were super rough and extremely dry. After some more minutes, I decided to untangle my hair, and trust me, it was a nightmare. It took me more than half an hour just in order to made my hair look better and in the end, all I had were, rough hair and green color all over my hands and comb.
The whole day, I had green hands everytime I touched my hair. The day went so annoying that I immediately washed my hair when I came back home.
Overall experience:
I personally hated the way the color looked on my hairs and made my hair feel. Also, the product is kind of pricey considering the amount you get in there. The bottle finished before I even realized. It might be a decent product for creating a strip of colored hair, but is certainly not recommended for anything more than that.
Pros of BBLUNT One Night Stand Temporary Hair Colour:
- Easy to use
- Good for people who want to try different colors on their hair but do not want to commit to permanent hair colors
- Easy to remove. Washing off the hair with a shampoo removes every trace of color.
Cons of BBLUNT One Night Stand Temporary Hair Colour:
- Makes the hair super dry and stiff
- Color bleeds everytime you touch the hair
- Too messy and completely unmanageable
- All the colors do not show up too well on black hair
- The color looks pathetic on hair (seems like holi hairs)
- Kind of pricey especially for the amount you get
Rating: 1/5
