Blue Heaven Xpression Lip Color Pencil 01: Review and Swatches

Last month I swatched all the 6 shades of Blue Heaven Xpression Lip Color Pencils. Today, after using the pencils, I am here to share my experience with ‘Blue Heaven Xpression Lip Color Pencil 01’. These lip pencils are super affordable, but are they good enough? Read out the review to find.

I bought these lip pencils a couple of months back when they were priced Rs 60. The brand seems to have increased their prices.

These Xpression Lip Pencils come in a golden colored pencil with a transparent cap. The packaging of the pencil, as well as the not so tight cap, make it a cheap looking product. The pencil is not safe to travel with as the cap tends to fall with the lightest pressure. Yes, the pencil does come with a free sharpener which is packed with the pencil in the original blister packaging.

My Experience with Blue Heaven Xpression Lip Color Pencil 01:

Color: Shade number 01 from Blue Heaven’s Xpression Lip Color Pencil is a pinky red-colored lip product which is easy to use by almost anyone and for any occasion.

Pigmentation: The shade is decently pigmented, one swipe is decent enough to get an opaque color onto the lips.

Texture: The formula of these lip pencils is super drying. Though, yes, these are supposed to be used to line the lips, but I usually fill my entire lip with the pencil first before applying a regular lipstick and this product does not seem to be meant for that.

Staying Power: This is another area where the lip pencil fails miserably. The pencil cannot withstand even a light snack, forget a full meal.
