Hello girls!
I think nobody will disagree with the fact that The Body Shop has shower gels for every mood and for every person! After trying strawberry, wild Argan oil & cocoa butter variants, I gave my hands on new Fuji green tea! So, here I am presenting ‘The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Wash’. In the monsoon season I always prefer light weight-gel based body washes to thick cream based. So I have given this one a try.
Price: 425 INR for 250 ml (Price have been reduced to 345 INR and new packaging is introduced, BUY HERE)
My experience with The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Wash:
The Body Shop Fuji green tea body wash comes in a faint green coloured see through plastic bottle and this bottle is slightly long in height than regular TBS shower gel bottles. I loved this more than those bulky ones and also the matte silver flip cap makes it classy. So the packaging is sturdy and ergonomically suitable.
The Body Shop Fuji green tea body wash has a soft gel like texture and the consistency is neither very thick nor very runny but slight thinner comparing to the cocoa butter shower wash. The best part about TBS body washes or soaps is they are not at all harsh on skin. This Fuji green tea variant also doesn’t strip off the moisture from the skin. Instead it cleans the skin properly removing all the dirt and excess oils and makes it supple. The refreshing smell is just perfect for this season and my sensitive nose never felt irritation with this citrus fragrance with a hint of green tea! Though the smell doesn’t linger after washing but I really enjoy the smell during the bath.
Very dry skin girls may find it drying but I am not sure as I never skip my body lotion application after every shower. Also very small amount is required, thus it runs for a long time. It lathers more when you use it with a loofah.
Pros of The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Wash:
- Affordable
- Sturdy packaging
- Refreshing smell which is perfect for all seasons
- Soft gel like texture
- Removes dirt without stripping off the natural balance of skin
- Contains tea tree which is good for any type of skin
- Suitable for all skin types but very dry skin shouldn’t skip post moisturization!
Cons of The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Wash:
- Not really, but they claims it to be soap free, but contains SLS in the ingredient list!
