Chokhi Dhani Jaipur: My Experience

Hello Beautiful Ladies!

Today I will be sharing with you all my experience to a wonderful place called Chokhi Dhani. Chokhi Dhani is basically a 5 star resort in the outer sides of Jaipur. But if you do not want to stay there and spend a whole lot of amount, then it is open for tourist as well. The place has 2 parts, one is the actual resort and the other is called ‘the village’. Today I will show you some of the pictures that I clicked during my visit.

First let’s see what the management has to say about the concept of the place:

Chokhi Dhani is a concept capturing the vibrant spirit of Rajasthan and ensuring a perfect Rajasthani experience. Inbound and native tourists have a desire to experience the unique Rajasthani culture. The real Rajasthan, the villages, the paintings, Bani Thani art, the wall decorations, Dipak Wall, the fresh air, the evening performances, the enthusiasm, the ‘manuhar’ (a delicate request to eat till your heart’s desire), the traditions, the costumes and at last but not the least the Feelings.

At Chokhi Dhani we bring that all for you. Our Aim is to preserve and encourage the village art and culture; to get today’s generation closer to the roots and the globe trekkers to see Indian village life.

The place is just away from the hustle of the city center where nature is alive, natural scenic views are ready to serve you and where you can feel the fresh air if Indian rustic villages. A place which is not too far to reach, situated on a national highway booming with peace and quiet. A place where you and your family love to come again and again.

You will instantly notice the friendliness and smiles; Chokhi Dhani reception, we have the best cooks from royal palaces and artisans from all over Rajasthan. Our master architect visited nearby villages, haveli and palaces before starting. We collect artifacts from various parts of Rajasthan but mainly tried to make our own so that you get the unique. We used purely hand crafted material for decoration and merged it with all modern amenities for your comfort.

My Experience:

When I went to Jaipur last month, I went to Chokhi Dhani for the first time. I had been to Jaipur twice before this, but never got a chance to visit the place, but I am really glad that this time we took out time to visit the place.

We went during the evening and reached the place at around 7 pm. The place was vibrant and colorful even during night. The whole set up of the place was like a village with all the charpaies and lanterns. The place also had a great number of shops where you can buy ethnic stuff. It was like a mela where you had options to eat, to play and various places to get yourself clicked.

The entry fee for the place is 600 bucks which includes the dinner coupon. The dinner time starts at 8:45 pm and the whole dinner arrangement has a typical village theme. The small tables were arranged on the floors and the seating arrangement was made at the floor as well. Usually on weekends there are huge lines and you would have to wait for the dinner, but luckily we waited for just 10 minutes. The best part of the trip was the dinner experience. We chose to eat in a covered room and there were lot of people to serve us. The food was served to us in leaf plates called pattals. The menu list of the place is long and we were served each and everything. The people who were serving were amazing and friendly and they made sure that we tried each and everything from the menu. We loved the khatirdari that we experienced at the place.

Here are some pics of my trip, enjoy the pics!!!
