I love experimenting with facial cleansers as they are the only product that does not irritate my skin. Due to my super sensitive skin, experimenting with facial scrubs or facial masks sometimes give me rashes. The product that I will be reviewing today is Forest Essentials Delicate Facial Cleanser Kashmiri Saffron & Neem.

Forest essential is not a brand which needs any introduction. I have tried many products from the brand and the one I keep going back to is their facial cleansers. The products from Forest Essential are on the pricey side but they have natural ingredients, they are worth the price.

Price: Rs. 1175 for 200 ml

Ingredients:

Anantmool – Very effective for acne and pigmentation. Evens skin tone and smoothes texture.

Nagkesar – Nagkesar has skin retexturizing, toning and firming properties.

Neem extract – Healing, cooling, antiseptic, antibacterial and purifying.

Rose – Desi Gulab is also known as Taruni in Ayurveda which means unimaginably beautiful. Steam Distilled Desi Gulab Essence or Pure Rosewater is a natural astringent. It tones diminishes fine lines and rehydrates the skin.

Saffron – In texts of Ayurveda, Saffron is grouped under Varnya gana. Varnya means the one which gives the skin a rich and glowing complexion. Saffron gives a warm and healthy glow to the skin.

Packaging:

The facial cleanser is nicely packed in a cardboard box with all the details mentioned on the box. The actual bottle is made of plastic and not glass which makes it travel-friendly. The lid of the bottle has a pump which makes it convenient to use.

My experience with Forest Essentials Delicate Facial Cleanser Kashmiri Saffron & Neem:

Saffron and Neem, both are the ingredients which are super good for skin and this along with the luxurious looking packaging made me buy this product. This is my second bottle despite the heavy price point, which makes it obvious that I love this product. The cleanser is light on the skin and does not make my skin dry. As it is a delicate one with all the right ingredients, it does not irritate my skin. And the best part about this product is that I can use it with my Clarisonic too.

Yes, it is a light one, but this does not mean that it does not clean my skin. I use the product twice a day, in the morning as well as evening and as soon as I wash my face with this, I feel clean. My skin looks clean.

The product is way more pricey than many other facial cleansers available in the market, but as only a small amount of product is enough, the bottle could last you for several months. One thing I would like to say about this product is that it does not lather much. So, if you are someone who does not feel that the product is working until you see a rich lather, this not might be the right product for you.
