My experience with Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Makeup Primer:
Lakme blur perfect primer comes in a glossy black tube with a glossy steel colored cap attached on it. The dispenser of the tube is very small and it dispenses a very small amount of product at a time which prevents product wastage. The tube is further packed in a glossy black paper cover on which all the details are written. The packaging is no doubt travel-friendly and easy to carry.
The primer is very light pale pink in color and it has some spicy kind of smell! I was really disappointed after sniffing this. Anyway, the primer is dry in texture and it gets blended easily on the skin. It makes the skin look matte and gives a base for application for the foundation.
Somehow it makes my foundation look cakey! This is not that perfect primer which makes me glowing. My makeup looks good just after application but after sweating or when I am in normal temperature and not in A.C. it starts to look whitish. I think it gets oxidized. So I am not really happy with the purchase. Maybe the problem is due to the tinted nature of the primer. It would be perfect if it was colorless.
Pros of Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Makeup Primer:
- Travel friendly
- Price is okay for 30g of product
- Easily available
- Makes the skin matte after application
- Tinted, maybe good for fair skin tones
Cons of Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Makeup Primer:
- Makes my foundation look cakey after sometime
- Gets oxidized, at least on me
- As it is pale pink in color, may not suit very dark skin tones
Rating: 3/5
Overall Experience:
Maybe it will be great for fair skin tones and normal skins. It makes the skin matte initially but after some time, I faced issues with this. I have tested this with Mac foundation so can’t blame my foundation for cakeyness as this matches perfectly with my skin. So if you have very oily or very dark brown skin you can skip this. But if you have normal and fair to medium skin tone, you can give this a try.
Ive been looking for a new primer! Thanks for the review babe!!
