Lakme Absolute Illuminating Lip Shimmer Crimson Blink Review

Lakme launched their illuminating lip shimmer range last year during Lakme fashion week. As a hardcore lipstick lover, I also picked one shade from the range. I love all the shades of red and thus I picked the shade crimson blink. So, today I’ll be reviewing ‘Lakme Absolute Illuminating Lip Shimmer Crimson Blink’.

My experience:

Lakme absolute illuminating lip shimmer comes in a glossy black tube which is classy as well as elegant! I am in love with this packaging. The packaging of Sculpt matte range, Lip pout matte & lip pout crème ranges from Lakme were also very impressive but this time they just rocked! The black cover is semi-transparent and shuts with a click. No doubt this is travel-friendly and quite attractive! The tube comes further in a glossy black paper box on which all the details are mentioned.

The shade Crimson Blink is a pure red without any definite undertone and it looks slightly dark on lips than the actual color. Golden and rose-gold shimmers are present in it and they are quite obvious after applying on lips! No complaint here as they are supposed to be there, after all this is a lip shimmer! The shade is perfect for those who love glossy shimmery lips.

Pigmentation is really superb. I just applied one stroke of it on my lips in the LOTD! So the pigmentation is really impressive and it is very creamy and glides very easily without any tugging. It stays on my lips for around 4-5 hours without a meal but after a meal, I can see prominent fading on the inner rim of lips. But absolute sculpt matters do stay there even after a meal most of the time.

If you are a shimmer lover and loves shiny pouts, this is the thing for you! But if you are a hard core matte lover you can skip this. The pigmentation, texture, & even the packaging are very tempting!
