Lakme Absolute Luxe Matte Lip Color with Argan oil Crimson Town

Lakme has launched luxe matte lip color range a few times back and I have picked two from the range. Today I am going to share my experience with Lakme Absolute Luxe Matte Lip Color with Argan oil Crimson Town. I am a hardcore matte lipstick lover so I knew I had to try this.

My experience with Lakme Absolute Luxe Matte Lip Color with Argan oil Crimson Town:

Lakme absolute luxe matte lip color with argan oil comes in a classy golden packaging. The tube is longer and slimmer than the general lipstick tubes and it looks really stunning. The metallic shiny golden case is also very sturdy and makes it travel-friendly. It is further secured in a black paper box on which all the details are written.

The shade crimson town is a marron based red color or you can say the oxblood color – a beautiful mix of red with a maroon tone to it. It is very suitable for Indian skin tone. Deeper skin tone can pull this off very easily. The texture of the lipstick is truly matte and doesn’t look glossy on the lips which I like the most. But the formula is very comfortable. It doesn’t feel heavy on the lips at all.

It glides on the lips without any tugging but the intensity of the color is a bit less compared to the other matte range from Lakme. Though the color can be built with 2-3 swipes. It doesn’t make the lips very dry and has a mild powdery floral mixed smell. Lasting power is good but it doesn’t stay on lips for the whole day either.

Less amount of product compared to the other lipstick but I never ended a single lipstick bullet ever in my lifetime! So not really a con though.

Lakme again didn’t fail to satisfy me. This matter is very much wearable and the shade goes with most of the skin tones. Argan oil also helps to protect your lips from excessive dryness. If you are in search for a matte lip color with a very comfortable formula you can give this a try.
