Today I’ll be writing about another shade from Lakme’s Matte Melt collection. Today’s review would be about ‘Lakme Absolute Matte Melt Liquid Lip Color Peach Rose’

Packaging:
Lakme Matte Melt lipsticks come in a cylindrical transparent tube with a doe foot applicator. The plastic tube and tight cap make the product safe to travel with.
My Experience with Lakme Absolute Matte Melt Liquid Lip Color Peach Rose:
The lighter shades in the Matte Melt Lipstick collection are better than some of the darker shades. In fact, I hate the shade Wine N Dine and on the other hand, I simply love the shades Vintage Pink and Mild Mauve. The shade Peach Rose comes in between both the hate and love.
Peach Rose, as the name suggests is a peachy lip color which is easy to wear. It is not exactly patchy, but is not as smooth in the formulation as Mild Mauve. The color is not opaque in the first layer but gives a good color in the second layer. The actual patchiness starts when you apply the second layer. The formula somehow sticks to the pre-applied layer making it uneven. Thankfully the color is light and hence the patchiness is not too visible as it is with the darker shades.
Staying power of this color too is average. It can stay for a good 3-4 hours but if you have a meal in between, the color vanishes and re-application is required
Overall Experience:
For me, this was one of the average product from the collection. It is not the worst formulated one but is certainly not the best one either. If you are a fan of light peachy colors, this can be tried. I personally won’t buy this shade again.

- Becomes patchy after the second layer
- Not so amazing staying power
