Product Description:
Available in 8 vivid shades that stunningly complement Indian skin tones, the all-new Lakmé Absolute Matte Melt Liquid Lip Color is has a velvet matte texture and delivers a lush, suede-like finish. The formula is weightless and feels feather-light on your lips with an intense color payoff. Longwear by nature, it also lasts through the day.
Packaging:
Lakme Absolute Matte Melt Liquid Lip Color comes in a cylindrical tube which is sturdy and closes nicely. It is safe to travel with and as it is transparent it looks good on the vanity too.
My Experience with Lakme Absolute Matte Melt Liquid Lip Color Wine n Dine:
The shade Wine n Dine is a deep wine color and would have looked absolutely beautiful if it would have applied nicely. This might not be the color for young girls and is certainly not something that can be used every day, but the color does look beautiful.
Like all the other colors from the collection, this one too feels creamy to apply, but it does not apply well. The shade is patchy and requires 2-3 coats and a lot of efforts to make it look opaque and even. Even after a lot of efforts, it does not look even. Then comes the staying power of the lipstick. Like others in the collection, this one too cannot withstand a full meal and what makes this one inferior is the fact that it is already patchy and fading makes it look worst.
The color might be transfer-proof and non-drying but none of this matters to me because of the way the colors looks on me.
Overall Experience:
I do like the formula of these lipsticks but the shade Wine N Dine did not work for me. The way the color applies and looks did not impress me at all. I would not buy it again (may not even use this one), nor would I recommend this color to anyone.
