A very Happy New Year to everyone! I know that its already been 10 days to the New Year but it’s better late than never. For my first article for the year 2020, I will start with a product I never thought I will like but surprisingly I am in love with the product. Today’s post would be about Lakme Lip & Cheek Color Rose Touch.
To give you a little background about my liking for Lakme products, I am not too fond of their lipsticks. I have tried many formulas from the brand but somehow I am never too impressed. This particular formula, the Lip and Cheek Color was not something I personally bought. I, in fact, received it as a test product from Nykaa for being a part of their napper program.
Now, let’s start with the review.

To be honest, I am not too happy with the price point, it is kind of pricey for Lakme, but as compared to many other products available in the market the price range is decent, especially considering the fact that the product can be used for both lips as well as cheeks.
Product Description:

Ingredients:
Cyclopentasiloxane, Octyl dodecanol, Polyethylene
Again, not too impressed with the ingredient list as it surely does not mention all the ingredients added to the lip product.
Packaging:
These Lakme Lip & Cheek colors come packed in a beautiful blush colored tube with shining rose gold lid. Thes packaging is sober yet pretty. But, as all the shades in the collection have the same packaging, differentiating amongst the shades needs to be done through a sticker pasted at the base of the tube which mentions the name of the shade.
The applicator has a hole in it which makes it easy to collect the perfect amount of product that might be required for a single application.
My Experience with Lakme Lip & Cheek Color Rose Touch:
Now, as I have already mentioned that I am in love with this product, to be precise I love the color Rose Touch. It is a mauvy pink tone that is perfect for everyday use. I have been using this particular shade nonstop since the day I have received it. It is a kind of shade that depends on no particular makeup look to look good. The color can be worn with any kind of makeup and even looks beautiful without makeup.
The texture of the product is super soft and it is super easy to apply. It dries kind of matte but is not completely matte and hence is not uncomfortable. I like the fragrance of the product too, it is kind of sweet-smelling.
Staying power of the lipstick is also decent, once applied the color can stay well up to 4-5 hours with mini-meals. It can not withstand a large oily meal but reapplying the shade is easy too.

Overall Verdict:
I just have one more shade from the collection but I don’t use that as often as I use the shade Rose Touch. After using it multiple times in a month, I can now say that this is my go-to shade. The easiest to wear shade in my collection. If you are looking for an everyday shade that does not dry your lips or do not feel heavy, then this formula in the shade Rose Touch is worth giving a try.

- It is a multipurpose product, can be used on lips as well as cheeks.
- It does not dry my lips
- Travel-friendly and easy to apply
- Comes in a good looking packaging
- The color looks good with or without a full face of makeup
- Smells good
- Feels light on the lips
Cons of Lakme Lip & Cheek Color Rose Touch:
- The price is slightly on the higher side (but it can easily be bought on discount during various sales)
- This does not have an amazing staying power and is transferable too.
