Hey everybody!
Today I am here to share my views on L’Oreal Professional Hair Spa Deep Nourishing Shampoo. This is the shampoo from the L’Oreal hair spa range and it is also used in salons before doing L’Oreal hair spa with L’Oreal cream bath. I have oily scalp but dry hairs so I have picked this one for my dry strands as it claims to be deep nourishing and meant for dry hairs. However, you can always visit an actual spa to compare the results –find out here
L’Oreal says:
Enriched with water lily and purified water, this deep nourishing shampoo intensely nourishes your hair. It gently cleanses and infuses the hair fibre with nutrients and moisture. Your hair feels rehydrated, soft and shiny.

My experience with L’Oreal Professional Hair Spa Deep Nourishing Shampoo:
These bottles on the shelves of the salons always attracted me, so finally I picked this shampoo for personal use. The shampoo comes in a sea green coloured bottle with a silver flip open cap attached to it. Packaging of the shampoo is absolutely attracting and also the shampoo doesn’t tend to leak from the cap.
The shampoo is white in colour and has pearly finish. The smell of the shampoo is really relaxing and rejuvenating! I just love the smell of the shampoo. The texture is creamy and not at all gel based. Gel based shampoo always tend to limp my hair. It lathers well but not obviously like the high surfactant based shampoos. Two dollops are required for two time washes at a time so it runs long.
I generally shampoo my hair in alternative days or every day in very humid days. It cleans all the dirt from the scalp, but if you are exposed to dirt and pollution and wash your hair once or twice a week, then it may not clean all the oils and dirt from your hair and scalp as it is very mild. It cleans hair and scalp but doesn’t strip off the natural oil from the hair. It keeps the natural moisture of the hair and scalp. But this is not very effective for removing stubborn dandruffs, if you have any. It does add mild volume to hair but not much as this is a deep nourishing shampoo and doesn’t mean to provide volumes.
Pros of L’Oreal Professional Hair Spa Deep Nourishing Shampoo Review:
- Attractive and sturdy packaging
- Creamy texture
- Doesn’t rip the natural moisture from hair and scalp
- Removes dirt
- Refreshing smells
- Good for dry hair
- Very mild in nature
Cons L’Oreal Professional Hair Spa Deep Nourishing Shampoo Review:
- May not be suitable for very oily hair
- Doesn’t really control hair fall but not increases either
Rating: 4/5
Lastly, I am happy using this shampoo on a regular basis but it is advisable to use a clarifying shampoo once in a while to remove the product build ups as it is very mild one. Overall it could be used by dry hair people and I will probably buy it again after finishing this bottle.
