Hello, all the pretty ladies! A very happy new year to you all.
Chapped lips are one of the common skin problems you face in winters! So today I am going to review the new Lotus Herbals Velvety Rose Lip Therapy which comes with SPF 15, a definite plus point for a lip balm.
Product Description:
Velvety Rose Lip Therapy is a revolutionary formulation that contains the most potent active herbs and Kokum butter, which moisturize the lips completely and protect the lips from getting dark. This also brings back the natural glow of the lips with regular use.
Price: 150 INR for 4 g (BUY HERE)
Shelf life: 36 months
Packaging:
Lotus Herbals Velvety Rose lip therapy comes in a twist open container and the packaging is quite sturdy and travel-friendly. All the details are written on the outer paper packaging and I am quite impressed with the quality of the material used for packaging.
My experience with Lotus Herbals Velvety Rose Lip Therapy:
The lip balm is light peach in color. No doubt it looks really good in the bullet and it has a mild floral (rosy) smell. I like the smell though the smell doesn’t linger after applying on lips. Lotus Herbals says this one is a tinted balm but I didn’t find any trace of color on my lips. Now, this is a real plus point at least to me as I don’t like tinted lip balms. There are lipsticks to color your lips, no?
Every winter initially I suffer from chapped lips and then one saint lip balm comes to rescue me. This time the velvety rose lip therapy from Lotus saved me! Earlier I was using Kama Ayurveda Lip Balm and that did nothing good to my lips but worse. This lip balm form lotus rescued my lips and they are healthy again. The best part is you don’t have to apply this with your fingers! Just open and apply like a lipstick. This stays for a long time on your lips though it can’t survive meals for obvious reasons.
Pros of Lotus Herbals Velvety Rose Lip Therapy:
- Budget-friendly
- Sturdy and stylish packaging
- Mild rosy smell
- Prevent chapped lips
- Moistures the lips thoroughly
- Heals the previous damages on your lips though it takes some time to do so
- Long lasting
- Makes a base for application of lipstick
Cons of Lotus Herbals Velvety Rose Lip Therapy:
- Not really a con but can’t survive meals. You have to reapply.
Rating: 4.5/5
Overall, I am really impressed by this lip balm. I also used so many varieties of lip balms earlier from Lotus Herbals and they all proved them quite well. So I recommend this to everyone who is suffering from chapped or dry lips.
