Makeup Revolution Amazing Lipstick Dazzle: Review and Swatches

It’s been a while since I last posted about a Makeup Revolution Lipsticks. I have a bunch of them and I have reviewed some of them earlier. Swatches of all the lipsticks that I have can be found HERE. Today I am going to talk about the shade Dazzle.

Price: INR 295 as sold on Nykaa but a site called tambeauty.com sells it for just INR 83. I haven’t tried this site thus I am not sure about their authenticity.

Product Description:

Don a striking and stunning look with this ‘Dazzle Amazing’ lipstick from the house of Makeup Revolution London. This lipstick ensures a long-lasting luster and color. This lipstick will lend you soft, smooth and supple lips.

My take on Makeup Revolution Amazing Lipstick Dazzle:

Dazzle as other Makeup Revolution amazing lipsticks comes in a round, all black packaging. The top section of the lid is colored in the same shade as that of the lipstick which makes it easier to recognize the shade from the bunch of black lipsticks.I won’t say that the lid is super sturdy but it is tight enough to avoid self-opening inside a handbag.

Coming to the color, Dazzle is a bright pink colored lipstick with minute sparkles. The sparkles are so small that they are not even visible on the lips. It is not one of their matte lipsticks and hence is not drying. The color has decent pigmentation, but it needs 2-3 coats to make the color completely opaque. It is non-streaky and decently flattering for everyday use.

I am not very happy with the staying power of the color. As it’s creamy it gets transferred all over and does not stay on for a long time. With food and drinks it completely goes off and reapplication becomes a must.

Overall for me, it is an average product, the color is not very unique nor is the formula. But considering the price, which is not too high, if you want to have a good everyday pink, Dazzle can be given a try.

I have many of these, some of which I have already decluttered. I don’t think I am going to buy them again

Do I recommend this?

Only if you like this color otherwise, better and cheaper products can be found in the market
