Mamaearth is a well-known skincare brand in India. A few months back the brand started introducing its makeup products in the market. The products they started with is their long-stay black eyeliner and kohl pencil. But now the brand has expanded its makeup range and has introduced lip balms and 2 formulas of lipsticks. In today’s post, I would be talking about and sharing my experience with Mamaearth Moisture Matte Long Stay Lipsticks

I have tried 2 shades out of the 9 that are available in the collection. The 2 shades that I have are Melon Red & Pink Tulip.
My Experience with Mamaearth Moisture Matte Long Stay Lipstick:
Packaging: If we talk about the packaging of these lipsticks, these are crayon-type lipsticks with retractable packaging. The outer packaging is simple but fancy-looking with the pullout opening. The actual lipstick is again very simple looking but a little bulky as compared to some of the other crayon lipsticks that are available in the market. The name and number of the lipstick color is mentioned on both, the outer packaging and the actual lipstick.
Formula: Whenever we think about long lasting lipsticks the first kind of lipsticks that comes into our mind are liquid lipsticks, as they dry matte and instantly becomes difficult to remove. But as they dry matte they tend to give the lips a dry feeling too, some lipsticks being more drying than some others. Mamaearth Long Stay Lipsticks are crayon lipsticks and hence are not drying. Infact they are infused with Avocado Oil & Vitamin E which gives additional moisture to them. But does that mean they are not long lasting?
Staying Power: Despite of being very moisturing and not like the liquid lipsticks, these Mamaearth Moisture Matte Lipsticks are pretty long lasting. They might not stay onto the lips intact for 12 hours (as the company claims) but they can certainly last upto 7-8 hours with a little bit of fading and transferring.

Overall for the price range, these Mamaearth Moisture Matte Long Stay Lipstick are definitely worth a try especially as they give a long lasting color without makeing the lips dry.
