Maybelline Fit Me Concealer: Review

It’s time I shake things up and try out a new concealer. I have been using the L.A. Girl Pro HD Concealer for the longest time. So I gave in to the rage and decided to try out the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. I have heard a lot of bloggers and YouTubers rave about this product so let’s see what the hype is all about.

Shades Available:

There are only 4 shades available: 25-Medium, 20-Sand, 10-Light and 30-Café.

Packaging:

The concealer comes in a slim plastic, transparent tube with a black twist-up cap. The long doe-shaped applicator is attached to the cap. Personally, this is my favorite kind of applicator to use with concealers as it helps spread the concealer evenly. The packaging is light-weight and convenient, making it travel-friendly.

My Experience with Maybelline Fit Me Concealer:

I bought the shade 25 Medium as it matched my skin tone perfectly. This is the shade which is perfect for fair to medium Indian skin tones. It’s not heavy and I could feel that my skin can breathe even after building up the product as I have acne scars and the occasional zit on my face so I need the extra coverage. This doesn’t cake up under my eyes or emphasize fine lines.

I have been using this Maybelline concealer for about 2 weeks now and I have to say this is the best drugstore concealer. It’s even better than L.A girl (something I wasn’t expecting). It covers my blemishes perfectly without giving my face the heavy makeup feeling. And it’s super affordable and won’t burn a hole in your pocket.

I have worn this concealer every day for two weeks over a nice slather of moisturizer and just compact as I don’t like wearing foundation every day to work. This concealer does everything it claims and works like a dream.

Texture:

The texture of the concealer is thin-medium with creamy consistency which spreads and blends easily. The product is creamy enough to give medium to full coverage and is absolutely buildable. It covers my acne scars and redness perfectly.
