Today’s review would be about ‘Nykaa Creamy Matte Lipstick Bon Appetit Baby’, it is one of the newer launches by Nykaa Cosmetics and it is one of their most affordable products. I have already reviewed the shade ‘Pep Talk‘ from the collection and I am pretty impressed with that particular shade.
But, is the formula the same for all the shades? Do I like the shade, Bon Appetit Baby, as much as I liked Pep Talk? Read on to know!

Product Description:
Ingredients:
No details about the ingredient list are mentioned on the lipstick or on Nykaa’s website.
Packaging:
This is an affordable lipstick and I personally do not expect much from affordable lipsticks as far as the packaging is concerned. But, as the market is full of cosmetic brands and each brand is launching something new almost every week, it is important to take the packaging game up along with the product formulation. And this is exactly what Nykaa Cosmetic did with these lipsticks. Thes lipsticks come in a regular round shape bullet packaging, but the bullet is color-coded with the actual shade of the lipstick. Not only this, the lid of the lipstick has black colored rings to make the packaging look prettier. The packaging looks beautiful and it is sturdy enough to travel with. The actual bullet has a regular shape like most of the other lipsticks.
My Experience with Nykaa Creamy Matte Lipstick Bon Appetit Baby:
The shade ‘Bon Appetit Baby is described as a bright red by the brand, but for me, it is more of a rust-colored lipstick. The shade is certainly beautiful and does have red undertones, but it is not a true red or a bright red for me. Like the shade Pep Talk, this too is completely free of any sort of shimmer particles and is good for everyday wear. The color is perfect to be coupled with any Indian attire and works well with the majority of Indian skin tones. Pigmentation wise the lipstick is decently good but not crazily pigmented. A couple of swipes are required to get the opaque finish.
The formula of the lipstick is very soft and creamy. It is not too glossy but not even completely matte. The lipstick is transferrable and hence does not have an amazing staying power. Thankfully it is easy to reapply and do not dry lips. The formula is good for summer as well as winter lips and works well even without a lip balm underneath the lipstick.
The staying power of the color might not be too good, but the color fades evenly without looking patchy. It actually leaves a flush of color on the lips before completely vanishing from the lips.
Overall Verdict:
After trying 2 shades from the collection, so far I can say that the formula of both the lipsticks is the same. The lipstick is affordable and easy to travel with. The shade Bon Appetit Baby is perfect for office going ladies and it works well with the majority of Indian skin tones. It is easy to reapply and do not dry lips. Its affordable price range makes it an easy to try product and a must-have!
