Today I’ll be talking about an eyeshadow palette from Nykaa. A few days back Nykaa launched their 6 color eyeshadow palettes in the colors Smokin Hot 01, Crazy In Love 02 and Dare to Bare 03. As soon as the palettes were launched everyone started raving about the product. Everyone seemed to love it. I also wanted to try them and so I bought ‘Nykaa Just Wink It Eyeshadow Palette Smokin Hot’ along with some other products (Haul)

Packaging:
Like other Nykaa products this palette too comes in a red-pink colored box. The actual palette is a square packaging with a transparent lid. The product contains 6 colors arranged in smaller rectangular pans. The palette has a transparent lid and hence no mirror. It also has a dual-sided brush with a normal brush on one side and a sponge tip applicator on the other.
My Experience with Nykaa Just Wink It Eyeshadow Palette Smokin Hot:
Color: The palette Smoking Hot is a palette with 5 dark colors and a white. As it is a smoky palette, it contains blacks, gray and a deep blue. All the 6 shades in the palette are matte and all the colors work well together. The company calls the shades as metallic, but they didn’t really come as metallic for me. Though I like to use deep colors for parties, I loved using this palette for a day look too.
Pigmentation: All the colors are decently pigmented. The colors are not very good if used dry, but once wet the pigmentation improves a lot.
Texture: The colors in the palette are soft to use and easy to blend and all the colors work well together.
Staying Power: The colors do not stay well if used dry, but the eyeshadow look created with wet colors stays for several hours. I applied the shadow at around 10 in the morning and it was good even till 5 pm in the evening that too without an eyeshadow primer.
Overall Experience:
Overall I did like the Eyeshadow Palette Smokin’ Hot especially due to the blue shade. I didn’t have any blue shade in my eyeshadow collection and every time I tried buying one, they always ended up being not as per my taste. But I loved the blue in Smokin Hot. The colors are not very pigmented if used dry but once wet, they are super pigmented and stays for a long time. I would like to try the palette Crazy In Love 02 in the near future.
