Today’s review would be about Nykaa So Matte Lipstick Devious Pink. I have 5 shades from the collection and have already reviewed 3 shades before. Let’s see how the shade Devious Pink differs from the others.

Packaging:
Nykaa So Matte! lipsticks comes in an all black square shaped packaging. The one I have is a mini version and this one too has an all black packaging. Both, the full size one and the mini one closes with a click are are safe to travel with. But as the mini version is tiny in size, it is easier to carry even in a small bag. A colored sticker representing the number of the lipstick is pasted at the bottom of the packaging. As the packaging of all the lipsticks is black, this bottom sticker helps to identify the desired color from a bunch of lipsticks.
Now, the only minus point I found in the mini version of the lipstick is the fact that the bottom sticker contains only the number of the lipstick and not its name. Though yes, the lipstick is small and so is the sticker, but having the name of the shade would have been so much better.
My Experience with Nykaa So Matte Lipstick Devious Pink:
As the name suggests, Nykaa So Matte Lipstick Devious Pink is a pink colored lipstick. It is not a bright pink and is good for everyday use. It is a kind of shade that looks good with or without makeup. The lipstick dries almost matte just a few seconds after application, but as it is not completely matte, it is not too uncomfortable. Though it must be noted, that if you have dry or chapped lips, a lip balm needs to be applied before applying the color.
Unlike the shade Caramel Margharita, Devious Pink is completely opaque even on the first swipe. The staying power of the shade is average. It is not a liquid lipstick and so it transfers, which reduces the staying power. The color remains intact for a good 3 hours without eating anything, but even a small meal can hamper the opacity of the color. The color starts to come out from the inner sections of the lips but it fades evenly leaving a beautiful pink flush on the lips. The lipstick does not stain the lips, so the flush also vanishes pretty fast, but it does not look bad at any point of time.
Overall Experience:
Overall, this is the best of the 5 shades I have from the collection. I love the way this pink looks on me. Yes, the staying power is not so amazing, but it is not too pricey and is easy to carry and re-apply. If you are looking for an everyday pink lipstick, then the shade Devious Pink is worth trying.
