A few days back, I wrote about and shared the swatches of 4 shades of Wet n Wild cream eyeshadows. When I bought those eyeshadows, I also bought the one from NYX cosmetics. NYX calls them Lid Lingerie Eye Tints and they are available in several shades. Unfortunately in India there are not many options to choose from, but but if you keep looking for them, you can get your hands on some of them. Today’s post would be about ‘NYX Lid Lingerie Lidli’. Let’s start with the review.

Packaging:
These NYX Lid Lingerie comes in a transparent long round tube with a black screw on cap, just like NYX Lip Lingeries. The packaging is sturdy and safe to travel with. They do not have a outer box, but have a transparent plastic layer when needs to to torn open in order to use the product. The wand is a doe foot applicator, very similar to those that come with liquid lipsticks.
My Experience with NYX Lid Lingerie Lidli:
The shade Lidli is a teal colored liquid eyeshadow with minute sized shimmer particles in it. The shimmer particles are not exactly visible until you actually apply the shadow on the eyes or until you see them through bright light or flash photography. The particles cannot be felt during application. The texture of the shadow is smooth and the applicator makes it easier to apply the color directly on to the lids. Though an additional brush is not required for applicaton, I personally like to blend the color with a regular eyeshadow brush.
The staying power of the color is good and it do not crease or fade. It works well alone as well as with a powder shadow over it. If you are in a hurry, just apply this and you are good to go, but if you are creating a proper eye look, any powder eyeshadow can be applied over it to make it last even longer.
The thing I do not like about this product is that, it stains the lids. The stain is not too strong and goes off in a few hours, but even with a strong makeup remover, the eyes appear slightly green even after removing the shadow. Also, on initial application, the formula comes out to be slightly patchy and some work needs to be done to make it look even.
Overall Experience:
Overall, I loved the way the color Lidli looks, it is a beautiful color, especially for summers. Once dry, it stays on for long hours. This might not be the best cream shadow but is decently good. I would not recommend getting this on full price, but on a discounted price, this is not a bad buy.
