Highlighters are one such makeup product that can make you glow without much effort. There are many highlighters available in the market from various brands and they come in all price range. The highlighter that I’ll be reviewing today is Revlon Highlighting Palette Rose Glow.
Revlon’s Highlighting Palette resembles the shimmer bricks from Bobbi Brown but only in the way they look, the feel, the pigmentation, and the texture, all are different.
Revlon Highlighting Palette is available in 3 different shade options:
- Rose Glow
- Peach Glow
- Bronze Glow
None of the colors actually resembles the color palette in Bobbi Brown shimmer bricks but the stripe color placement makes it look similar to me.

My Experience with Revlon Highlighting Palette Rose Glow:
Rose Glow as the name suggests, is a pinky rosy kind of a highlighting palette with 5 different strips of colors arranged in a square pan. All the 5 shades contain shimmers but the shimmer particles in 3 of the colors are stronger as compared to the remaining two. The palette contains all the shades which are either pink or rose gold.
The colors are extremely soft to touch and the pigmentation is decent too. It is not something that will give you a full on glow but if you are a fan of subtle glow, this is the palette for you.
The individual colors can be used as eyeshadows too, personally, I don’t like these colors as eyeshadows due to not so amazing pigmentation for eyes. The colors do give a beautiful glow to the skin but if all the 5 colors are swatched separately, not much pigmentation or difference in color can be observed.
Staying power of the product is also average, it stays for up to 2-3 hours after which it can be reapplied. The colors can be used separately for highlighting but the strips of color are way too small to be used separately (until you decide to apply the highlighter with your finger). I personally like to swirl my brush in all the five shades which gives me a sparkly pink glow.
Pros of Revlon Highlighting Palette Rose Glow:
- Easily Available
- Gives a soft subtle glow
- Travel-friendly packaging
- Contains 5 different colors which can be used as eyeshadows too
Cons of Revlon Highlighting Palette Rose Glow:
- Kind of pricey (as compared to some other options available in Indian market, which are way better than this one)
- Not very pigmented
