September Fab Bag Review and Pictures

Today I will be sharing with you all the items that I received in my September Fab Bag. September’ 2015 is a special month for Fab Bag team as this month they completed their 3 years and on the occasion of their 3^rd anniversary Fab Bag team decided to reward their customers by introducing 3 new brands in the Bag. Before getting in to the products I received in my bag, I would like to congratulate the Fab Bag team for completing their 3 years. I am one of the happy customers of Fab Bag since the past 2.5 years and I am love with the amazing work they do.

As this month it is their Anniversary special bag, it is something which is perfectly party appropriate. This month the contents were packed inside a shimmery maroon colored bag, which actually looks like a small clutch. The bag has a broad base which helps it to stand on its own without any support.

For those girls who are not aware about what is Fab Bag, it is a monthly subscription bag in which you get 3-4 sample size makeup and skin care products of various brands. Every bag is customized according to personal preference and skin type. Though the bag and the products are a surprise but in the beginning of subscription a questionnaire is asked to be filled to understand the skin problem, choice of makeup and hair type which really help the Fab Bag team to customize the bag especially for us. The products are always packed in a cute bag which is different every month. The company also provides with a little booklet which contains the details about all the products received in the bag as well as some other products that can be brought from the site.

Sometimes Fab Bag does provide 1-2 full sized products too and sometimes you can also get more than 3 products plus some additional goodies.

The subscription can be made for a single month or for the whole year.  The prices are:

For 1 month subscription: Rs 599 per month

This month Fab Bag introduced 3 new brands in the bag. The new introduced brands were: Makeup Revolution, The Balm and Skinn. As this month was special they surprised their customers with more than 3 items. In total they gave 6 different products out of which 3 are full sized.

Without writing much, I would now jump into what all I received in my September Bag

The Balm Stainiac Lip and Cheek Stain (Rs 1200 for 8.5 gm)

This is the first sample sized product that I received in my Fab Bag. ‘The Balm’ is a very famous cosmetic brand which was not easily available in India, but Fab bag team introduced it in the bag and gave us the sample of its Lip and Cheek Stain. As the name suggests, the product can be used for both lips as well as cheeks, which means that it doubles as a lip stain and as a blush. The aloe- infused formula of the stain gives us more time for application before the stain sets to a gorgeous tinge. I haven’t tried this product on my lips but I tried this on my cheeks. The color looks absolutely wonderful on the cheeks and it gives a natural flush of color to the cheeks. Being a stain, it stays well on the cheeks and sweat or even a flush of water does not hamper its staying power.

Makeup Revolution Focus and Fix Liquid Concealer-FC07 (Rs 550)

Focus on those imperfections and fix them like a pro with this easily bendable, high coverage concealer. Its creamy formula is long wearing & provides a natural finish. This is what the company has to say about this product. It is one of the full sized products that I received in my bag. I haven’t used it yet but this is one of the products I am most excited about. I hope that this product will be as good as some of the other products from this brand.

Kama Ayurveda Pure Rose Water (Rs 250 for 50ml)

As mentioned on the card, this is also a full sized product containing 50 ml rose water, but this rose water also comes in a 200 ml pack which is priced Rs 795. I like the fact that a rose water is included in the bag, as rose water is considered to be very good for getting a clear skin, but unfortunately rose water does not suit me, it tends to give me rashes, so I am not sure about whether I will like this product or not, but I will definitely give this product a try.

Just Herbs Gotukola Indian Ginseng Rjuvenating Beauty Elixir (Rs 985 for 12ml)

I am confused about the quantity of this product as the card says that the full size if 12ml which is priced Rs 985, but the box containing the bottle says that the sample I received in the bag contains 15 ml product. Whatever be the case, I can say that the product is not sample sized, Either it’s full sized or its even more than the full size. This elixir facial night serum is a blend of treasured Indian herbs like gotukola and ginseng that nourish and restore a natural glow and youthfulness to tired skin. The product is said to work best when mixed with a night cream. I can’t yet say much about the product as I have just starting using it, but I really hope that it will do something good for my skin.

SKINN by Titan Celeste for Women (Rs 990 for 50ml)

I don’t use much perfumes, and so I am the worst person to describe the way this perfume smells, but I must say that I does like the way it smells. The company says “this invigorating, citrusy fragrance will transform you into the bubbly woman who is the life of every place she sets foot on”. I hope that this becomes my case too 😉 The sample received in the bag contains 2 ml of the product.

SKINN by Titan Raw EDP for Men (Rs 1790 for 100ml)

Receiving something for men in a woman’s bag is always nice; it is a bonus product that was included in this month’s bag as it was their anniversary. This too contains 2 ml of product and the bottle is tiny enough to be carried easily by men even in their wallets.

Overall, I am in love with this month’s Fab Bag too and I am really excited to use the stain from The Balm and the Facial Serum from Just Herbs. But more than this, I am in love with the bag the products came in and I am sure that I am going to rock this bag on many occasions. Thank you Fab Bag for such amazing products and the efforts you put into while designing the bag and its contents.
