Today’s post is again about Sugar Cosmetics, but this time it is not a new launch from the product, but something which is one of the oldest and bestsellers from the brand. Today I will be reviewing Sugar Cosmetics Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick in the shade Suave Mauve.
Now, these lipsticks are in the market for a long time now, but I never bought them to try as I read some reviews that the formula is super drying on lips. I am not a fan of super dry formulas and so I never actually bought any of the shades. But as the shade collection and the price range of the lipstick is amazing, almost every lipstick lover had tones of shades form them. I really wanted to try a couple of shades but wasn’t sure about investing in the formula.
A couple of months back while Sugar Cosmetics was running an offer on lipsticks, I ordered a couple of their other formula and received the mini set free with my order.
Enough babbling now, Let’s get into my experience with the lipstick.

The full retail price of the lipstick is not very high, but if you are someone who likes to try many lipsticks and not commit to any single shade, then the mini ones are an excellent option for you. The best part about the mini set sold by Sugar Cosmetics is that you can select your own shades that you would like to have as a mini. Any 4 shades from a collection of 44 shades can be selected.
List of Ingredients:
I am not sure about the list of ingredients being mentioned on the full size one, but as it is mentioned on the outer box of the mini lipsticks, I am assuming that it must be present on the full-size ones too.

My Experience with Sugar Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick Suave Mauve:
Suave Mauve was one of the shades I got in my mini set, I selected the shade randomly without even seeing the swatches online. But I am glad that I selected this one. The shade Suave Mauve as can be assumed by the name is a beautiful subtle mauve colored lipstick that is perfect for everyday use. The pigmentation is good and a single swipe is sufficient for a fully opaque look.
The thing I was most concerned about was the texture and the feeling which surprisingly is not too bad. The lipstick glides beautifully on the lips. And even after it is completely dry, it does not feel drying to me. I was actually very comfortable while wearing the shade throughout the day. Yes, I did have a layer of lip balm underneath the lipstick but that is something I do with every liquid lipstick.
The staying power of the lipstick is also brilliant. I applied the lipstick at around 11 in the morning and it was well on its place for 4-5 hours which included a full South Indian Meal. The meal can certainly make the color a little light which then fades evenly and beautifully from the lips. The formula is transfer-proof which makes it stay even longer.
Overall thoughts:
I am in love with the shade Suave Mauve and I did feel comfortable with the formula too. The price range and the color options of the lipstick are also amazing. What else can you ask for? I would totally recommend trying at least one shade from the collection. And if you want a few shades you can opt for the mini value set and select your own desired shades. All I would suggest is to surely apply a lip balm before applying the lipstick.

The only con I can actually think of is that these mini versions cannot be bought individually. If you are willing to buy a mini lipstick then you would have to buy a set of 4.
