In the month of August, I bought a bunch of Swiss Beauty products and by now I have tried almost all of them. Some of them I have reviewed and some reviews are still pending. Today’s review would be about Swiss Beauty Liquid Lipstick in the shade Mauve Taupe. Swiss Beauty Mauve Taupe is one of the two liquid lipsticks that I bought from the brand. Let’s get into the detailed review about the liquid lipstick.

The details of the ingredients is not visible on the packaging, but it is hidden underneath one of the stickers pasted on the tube itself.
Packaging:
Swiss Beauty liquid lipsticks come in a square shaped plastic tube with a screw on lid. The lid is sturdy and being a plastic tube, it is safe to travel with. The applicator provided with the lipstick is kind of unusual. It is a sponge applicator which is long and flat in shape. The shaped of the applicator might not be like others, but this does not hinder it from applying the lipstick properly. The name and number of the lipstick is mentioned on a sticker pasted at the bottom of the tube.
My Experience with Swiss Beauty Mauve Taupe:
As the name suggests, the shade Mauve Taupe is a reddish blue grey lip color which comes out to be very neutral looking on the lips. It is one of those colors that can be used as an everyday color without thinking much about its matching with the outfit. The color is beautiful and it dries completely matte.
The formula is easy to work with and it takes just a couple of seconds for the lipcolor to dry completely. The company claims it to be a high coverage, long wearing non-drying formula which is true upto a certain extent. The formula is certainly high coverage with excellent pigmentation. One single swipe and you get a fully opaque lip color. It is long wearing as well. The liquid lipstick has a staying power of more than 6 hours, with or without meals. Yes, it can easily withstand a full meal without fading and cracking much.
My only complain with the formula is with the drying part. When initially applied, the lipstick do not feel dry, but after a couple of hours, especially after you eat something, the lipstick starts to feel drying. I almost felt so uncomfortable after having a cup of coffee, that I applied a chapstick over this liquid lipstick. This did make it work for some time, after which the lipstick became drying and sticky.
Overall Experience:
Overall, considering the price range, this is an excellent product with great color selection and amazing staying power. The shade Mauve Taupe is one of my favourite shades from the collection.
