A Trip to Sydney!
It’s been a while since I started writing about my Australia travel experience with SOTC. Today I’ll be sharing the last part of my Australia travel series. We (me and my husband) went to 4 places in Australia Melbourne, Brisbane, Cairns, and Sydney. Sydney was the last destination of our 10-day tour and we had a 3-night stay in Sydney.
Day 8:
This was actually the first day of our Sydney tour and we reached our hotel at around 2 pm, we were left free to explore the place on our own. After resting for an hour, we took a bus from a nearby bus station and moved straight to the shopping street. Though there was not enough time for shopping as we were required to reach back to the hotel for dinner, we went to window shop in order to prepare ourselves for the shopping day. Later that evening we were served dinner in an Indian restaurant which was surprisingly better than we expected.
Day 9:
This was going to be a hectic day as we were to have a Sydney city tour. The tour started at 10 in the morning after breakfast and we covered the most famous tourist spots of Sydney. Opera House, Sydney Bridge, Sydney Tower and Madam Tussad being some of them. Both lunch and dinner were served to us during our tour and it was the first time that I had a pizza with Rajma beans.
Day 10:
This being the final day of the tour was kept free and I dedicated the full day to shopping. We already knew the shopping street which saved us a lot of time. Although I didn’t buy too much stuff, I gathered enough things which forced made us buy an extra handbag for new stuff 🙂
Finally, our tour ended with a gala cruise dinner. Though the dinner itself wasn’t too amazing, the performances, the musical ambiance and the night beauty of Sydney made everything worth remembering.
It was time to say Bye to Australia, but I am really happy that I came to this wonderful place. The weather was amazing and the people were extremely welcoming. Everyone on the streets seemed so happy with their lives, everyone had a smile. The whole positivity made me fall in love with this country.
